Hoshiarpur 1 February – A delegation of public representatives met former National Vice President of BJP and former Rajya Sabha MP Avinash Rai Khanna and congratulated him on the spectacular victory of BJP in the Chandigarh Mayor elections and made the people of the state aware of the basic principles under the rule of Aam Aadmi Party. Discussed about lack of facilities and crime spreading in the state.
On this occasion, Khanna said that the Bhagwant Mann led AAP government of the state has proved unsuccessful in handling the state. Khanna said that Aam Aadmi Party came to power in the state by showing false dreams of development and peace to the people of the state, but now neither the law and order of Punjab is being maintained nor the basic facilities are being provided to the people of the state are properly meeting.Khanna said that the public has now fully recognized the false face of the Aam Aadmi Party. The election of BJP mayor in Chandigarh by the public representatives is proof that the public has now decided to remove the Aam Aadmi Party from power in Punjab. Khanna appealed to the public to vote for BJP in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections for all-round development and peace establishment of the state. On this occasion Rajesh Nakada, S.P. Diwan, Numberdar Satveer Thakur, Chairi Thakur and other leaders were also present.
