Pawan takes up sewerage, blacktopping works in Udhampur with senior officials

Jammu and Kashmir BJP Vice-President Pawan Khajuria, during his meeting with the Chief Engineer of UEED and the telephonic talk with Commissioner Secretary PWD, took up various issues related to these departments, which are causing inconvenience to large population of the people of Udhampur for the last few months.

Pawan Khajuria, while discussing the prevailing situation due to pending sewerage works in Udhampur, told Nasir Kakroo, Chief Engineer UEED, during his meeting, that almost entire length and breadth of the Udhampur district has been dugged and there is grave resentment among the people as they are facing hardships in smooth movement of vehicles. The markets are bearing deserted looks, affecting the routine business. The pedestrians too are facing problems.

Pawan Khajuria also took up the ongoing work of Amrit-II of Devika Rejuvenation Project and stressed for early completion of the work as the ancient river has emotional attachment of lakhs of people. It is not just a development project but centre of the religious attachment, he told the Chief Engineer.

Pawan Khajuria, during his telephonic conversation with the PWD Commissioner Secretary, apprised him of the urgent need of repair and also black topping of roads in the Udhampur District. He also raised the issue of the pending release of funds under PMGSY compensation for Udhampur District.

At the instance of the BJP leader, the UEED Chief Engineer, along with other officials, visited many areas of the district for personal assessment of the present status of the departmental works and directed the concerned officials to speed up the work and complete the same at the earliest.

Pawan Khajuria had taken up the issues with the UEED and PWD senior officials as he had been repeatedly approached by the people of Udhampur, who expressed their strong anger and resentment over the slow pace of works and wanted the matter be raised at the highest level.

BJP District President Udhampur Arun Gupta, DDC Member Amit Sharma and District Secretary Rohit Sarmal also accompanied Pawan Khajuria during his meeting with the Chief Engineer UEED.

DC appeals to residents to apply for Environment Conservation Awards

Hoshiarpur, January 4 :

Deputy Commissioner Komal Mittal has appealed to residents to apply for Environment and Cleanliness Awards to be conferred during the Environment Conservation Fair 2024. This fair will be held on 3 and 4 February 2024 at Nehru Rose Garden Ludhiana.

She said that during this fair more than 100 stalls would be installed to showcase the various activities required to save the environment and future generations.

She said that this fair was being organized by Soch a Non-Government Organization,

which was working to conserve natural resources and reconnect people with nature. This organization has been organizing environmental conservation fairs for the past two years through which awareness is being created among people about the conservation of natural resources.

The Deputy commissioner said that 10 awards worth Rs 5 lac will be given to Gram Panchayats, NGOs, individuals, students, etc. who have done commendable work in various fields in this environmental conservation fair.

She said that the last day for these awards, the application proforma, or more information can be accessed at www.sochngo.org or can be contacted on mobile number 82839-33002.

फगवाड़ा 3 जनवरी (शिव कौड़ा) गुरु हरगोबिंद नगर फगवाड़ा में उद्योगपति के.के. सरदाना के संरक्षण में संचालित ब्लड बैंक में माता ठाकुर देवी एवं नानक चंद सेठी की समृति में 420वां निशुल्क दंंत चिकित्सा शिविर ब्लड बैंक के प्रधान मलकीयत सिंह रघबोत्तरा की देखरेख में लगाया गया। जिसका शुभारंभ रोटरी इंटरनैशनल के पूर्व गवर्नर सतपाल सेठी ने ज्योति प्रज्जवलित करके किया। उन्होंने ब्लड बैंक द्वारा निष्काम रूप से की जा रही समाज सेवा की प्रशंसा की और साथ ही 8 नए तैयार जबड़े जरूरतमंद वृद्धों को भेंट किये। इस दौरान सी.एम.सी. लुधियाना के विशेषज्ञ डाक्टरों की डा. साहिल पाल व डा. रिचर्ड गिल आधारित 25 सदस्यों की मोबाईल टीम ने 130 दंत रोगियों के दांतों की जांच की। जरूरतमंदों के दांतों की सफाई करके आवश्यक दवा दी तथा रोगियों के खराब हो चुके दांतों को निकाला व फिलिंग की जरूरतमंदों को दवाएं भी भेंट की गई। इसके अलावा 25 नये जबड़े तैयार करने की दूसरी प्रक्रिया को भी पूरा किया गया। मलकीयत सिंह रघबोत्रा ने बताया कि आगामी कैंप 15 जनवरी दिन सोमवार को लगाया जाएगा। जिसका लाभ दंत रोग से पीडि़त जरूरतमंद ले सकते हैं। इस अवसर पर गुलाब सिंह ठाकुर, नरिन्द्र सिंह सैनी, मोहन लाल तनेजा, गुलशन कपूर, कृष्ण कुमार, सुधा बेदी सहित अन्य गणमान्य उपस्थित थे।

Narendra Modi government, through its strong policies and decision-making capacity, has ensured improved ease of living for everybody. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has successfully improved the key areas like healthcare facilities, infrastructure, women empowerment, foreign policy, farmers’ welfare, initiatives for poor & marginalized in the last ten years, said Sat Sharma.

Sat Sharma, former minister and former President, J&K BJP, expressed these views while he, accompanied by BJP SC Morcha Seh-Prabhari & JMC Councillor Jeet Angral, was attending to the grievances of a large number of people from different areas of Jammu and Kashmir.

The BJP leaders were attending to the grievances of the public at the party headquarter, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu, during their scheduled weekly sitting.

Deputations from Dalwash Budgam, Gangyal, Kabir Colony, Purani Mandi, Sidhra, Anand Vihar, Subhash Nagar, Hiranagar and other areas had approached BJP headquarter to share their grievances and issues with the former Minister Sat Sharma for early disposal, who, took up their matters with the concerned departmental officials.

Issues related to land and family disputes, medical issue, drinking water connection, Ration card, transformer to be placed at height, repair of lane, Jal Jeevan Mission, PDD electric wire change, were amongst the prominent being put forth by the visiting individuals and deputations.

The former minister redressed the maximum of the grievances on the spot. He gave a patient hearing to the grievances raised and assured proper disposal of the remaining genuine issues in a time-bound manner.

While speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said that the Modi government has ensured consistent and dedicated effort to uplift the socio-economic status of underprivileged classes. Ever since the Prime Minister has assumed the prestigious chair of the PM, the union government has taken every necessary step to address the pending and unaddressed issues.

“Welfare schemes of the Modi government have been motivated by the principles of Antyodaya, which aim to reach the last neglected person in society, achieving their hundred percent saturation. All the actions of the Modi government are aimed to improve the ease of living of common masses in letter and spirit”, said Sat Sharma.

Jeet Angral coordinated the grievances camp proceedings and diarized the issues presented in the camp. He said that BJP is committed to address the issues faced by the public and shared that telephonic and written representations of the deputations were forwarded to resolve issues of public.

Mata Sudiksha Ji Maharaj expressed this while addressing thousands of devotees present in the special satsang ceremony organized at ground number 8 of Burari on the auspicious occasion of New Year. To get the benefit of this satsang organized on the beginning of the year 2024, Delhi and N. C.R. Thousands of devotees from other places also participated and were overwhelmed by the divine darshan and holy discourses of Satguru.

On this occasion, Nirankari Rajpita Ramit Ji, while addressing the Sadh Sangat, said that our faith and reverence on Nirankar should be based on our personal spiritual experience and not merely inspired by someone else’s words. From the point of view of Brahmagyan received from Satguru, it is best to do devotion while having darshan of God with His body. Satguru is providing the path to liberation in life by providing Brahmagyan equally to everyone and we can achieve this only through our experience and our true love.

While giving her sacred blessings on the occasion of New Year, Satguru Mata Ji explained that often we adopt narrow and discriminatory behavior in the limited scope of our practical life. Life can be lived by rising above this influence only when we take the knowledge of Brahma as our basis and see the form of God in everything. We have to expand our thinking and live life only with a feeling of love; Only then will the feeling of distress be eliminated from the mind.

While talking about the feeling of love, Satguru Mata Ji said in her sermons that when we connect with this huge God, then no bondage remains. By connecting with this colorless color, such a strong color of devotion falls on us that our devotion becomes stronger, but due to misconception, we forget this truth and try to influence others only with our own ideology. The reality is that love is a matter of acceptance, not of making others agree. We have to do every work with the consciousness of Brahmagyan only. One has to live a life full of devotion with the feeling of love in mind for everyone.

In the end, on the occasion of New Year, Satguru Mata Ji wished good luck to everyone and blessed us that in this New Year too, our lives should be decorated with service, remembrance and satsang. These precious words of Satguru on the occasion of New Year are, in reality, undoubtedly a boon for all humanity.

Bureau of Indian Standards (Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution , Govt of India) Chandigarh Branch Office (CHBO) today organised fourth Gram Panchayat level meeting at Block Gharshankar, under the able guidance of Smt. Komal Mittal, I.A.S. Deputy Commissioner Hoshiarpur and Shri Balraj Singh Addl. Deputy Commissioner (Dev) Hoshiarpur.

Sh. Jai Krishan Singh Rouri Deputy speaker Punjab Vidhan Sabha attended as Chief guest of the function. He emphasis the need of the hour for new Techniques to be adopted in day to day life. He urge the participants to use I.S.I mark and hallmark when ever they do procurement for personal use as well as for procurement at village level. He also give best wishes to B.I.S offices for enhancing Knowledge about bls care app and for upcoming remaining workshops at District Hoshiarpur .

Wherein about 77 Sarpanches, Panchs and Panchayat Samiti Members participated. A booklet and fliers about development of BIS standards for villages and agriculture related information were distributed among participants to enhance their knowledge about Standards in their routine day to day life as well as in farm sector.

During the program the participants were apprised about significance of Standards to procure quality goods for any development activity , personal needs or at the time of making irrigation sources to farms.

Participants also downloaded BIS Care app and learn to use this App for verifying the authenticity of genuine ISI Mark and Hallmarking and tried various products to validate their authenticity. A good number of women Panchayat members enthusiastically participated in the discussion on Hallmarking and BIS Care App. Participants also chant the slogan ‘JAGO GARAHAK JAGO’ with great zeal.

The participants also shared their views after the workshop about their experience and how they can effectively use the information they have gained through this meeting. Participants were amazed by knowing that they can directly raise a complaint or concern at BIS Care App and check misuse of standard mark. The entire audience unanimously thanks for enlightening them on the newer knowledge they have gained on the BIS marking and means to check their authenticity and raised demand to conduct more such programs in their respective villages.

Smt. Manjinder Kaur BDPO Gharshankar also share her views on importance of ISI verified products and ask Participant to verify the product through BIS Care app before buying products for personal use or for procurement for village through ISI , HUID Hallmark for Gold ornaments and Registration Mark for Electric and Electronics products . Sh Jeevan (Superintendent, BDPO office) and his entire team provide necessary arrangements to organise this successful workshop , A High Tea with Refreshment also served to Panchs and Sarpanchs . भाजपा प्रदेश कार्याकारनी मेंबर संजीव मन्हास व भाजपा आगू विजय शर्मा ने प्रेस को जानकारी देते हुए बताया कि केन्द्रीय मंत्री श्री सोम परकाश जी के प्रयास से जैसलमेर जम्मू ट्रेन व जम्मू तवी के दसूहा में ठहराव की मंजूरी मिल गई है जल्दी ही दसूहा में दोनो ट्रेनों का ठहराव शुरू किया जायेगा। इसके साथ ही वाराणसी जम्मू का मुकेरिया स्टेशन पर रुकने की मंजूरी भी मिली है ।इसके लिए उन्होने केंद्रिय मंत्री सोम प्रकाश जी व विधायक जंगी लाल महाजन और भारत सरकार का धन्यवाद किया। उन्होने कहा के यह दोनो ट्रेनों के रुकने से दसुहा व मुकेरिया के इलाके के लोगों को बड़ा लाभ मिलेगा। इस मौके डा होशियार सिंह, मंगल सिंह,अरुण शर्मा, कुलदीप सिंह आदि भी उपस्थित थे।
