International Trade Division of Marketing Department of RINL Awarded with Star Performance Award for Export Excellence

International Trade Division (ITD) of RINL/Visakhapatnam steel plant Marketing Department has been awarded with Star Performance Award for Export Excellence under the category of Rolled, Drawn and Folded Products of Iron and Steel – Large Enterprise by Southern regional of Engineering Export Promotion Council of India (EEPC) for the year 2018-19.

Chief Minister of Karnataka, Shri Basavaraj Bommai presented the award which was received by Chief General Manager (Mktg.)- I/c -Shri M Satyanandam and General Manager (Mktg)-I/c -ITD Shri Prashant Sagar, recently at Bengaluru.Shri Atul Bhatt, CMD, RINL appreciated the International Trade Division (Exports Division) of RINL for being awarded with the prestigious Star Performance Award for Export Excellence. Shri Atul Bhatt and Shri DK Mohanty, Director (Commercial) during an interaction with the International Trade Division of RINL today, appreciated the sustained initiatives being taken by the International Trade Division (Exports Division) of RINL to improve its presence in the international market.

This prestigious award is presented to any organisation which has excelled in international trade and successfully achieved a certain minimum amount of export performance in two out of three financial years. It may be noted that the products of RINL are highly renowned in the international market for their excellent quality and delivery schedule.

Launches India International Bullion Exchange (IIBX) and NSE IFSC-SGX Connect
The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, today visited India’s maiden International Financial Services Centre (IFSC) in Gujarat International Finance Tec-City (GIFT City) and presided over an event organised by the International Financial Services Centres Authority (IFSCA), the unified statutory regulator for the development and regulation of financial products, financial services and financial institutions in International Financial Services Centres in India.

Speaking on the occasion, the Prime Minister said, “The IFSCA will become an enabler, it will support innovation and also become a catalyst for growth opportunities.”
The Prime Minister also said, “GIFT-city is an important gateway to get connected with India as well as global opportunities. When you get integrated with GIFT-city, you get integrated with the entire world.”

Also present on the occasion were Shri Bhupendra Patel, Chief Minister of Gujarat; Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman, Union Minister of Finance and Corporate Affairs; Shri Pankaj Chaudhary, Union Minister of State for Finance; Dr Bhagwat Kishanrao Karad, Union Minister of State for Finance and Shri Kanubhai Desai, Minister of Finance and Energy, Government of Gujarat.

Foundation Stone laying of the Headquarters Building of IFSCA

The Prime Minister laid the foundation stone of the Headquarters Building of IFSCA. Conceptualised as an iconic structure, reflective of the growing prominence and stature of GIFT-IFSC as a leading international financial centre, the “IFSCA Tower” is planned to have a built-up area of 3,00,000 square feet spread across 27 floors with best-in-class modern amenities and a magnificent panoramic view. In keeping with the Smart City concept of GIFT City, the IFSCA Tower has been designed to be a platinum-rated green building with a highly efficient and sustainable structure. Estimated to be constructed at an estimated cost of Rs 200 crore, when completed in 2024, the IFSCA Tower will emerge as a monumental edifice in GIFT City and symbolise the dreams and aspirations of a New and Aatma Nirbhar Bharat.
The Prime Minister said, “Today, in GIFT City, the foundation stone of the International Financial Services Centers Authority – IFSCA headquarters building, has been laid. I believe, as grand as this building is in its architecture, it will also create unlimited opportunities to make India an economic superpower”.

Launch of India International Bullion Exchange (IIBX)

The Prime Minister launched India International Bullion Exchange (IIBX), India’s first International Bullion Exchange in GIFT-IFSC. Established with the vision of making India an influencer of the global bullion prices, the IIBX will facilitate efficient price discovery and ensure standardisation, quality assurance and sourcing integrity in addition to providing impetus to the financialisation of gold in India. This initiative shall empower India to gain its rightful place in the global bullion market and serve the global value chain with integrity and quality. This also reinforces the commitment of the Government towards enabling India to influence global gold prices as one of its principal consumers. Only the 3rd exchange of its kind in the world, IIBX, with its technology-driven solutions, will facilitate the transition of the Indian bullion market towards a more organised structure by granting Qualified Jewellers direct access to import gold directly through the exchange mechanism.

The Prime Minister said that India’s identity should not be limited to just a big bullion market but it should be recognised as a ‘market maker. The PM further mentioned, “We need institutions that can cater to our present and enhanced future role in the global economy. IIBX is a crucial step in this direction.”

Launch of NSE IFSC – SGX Connect

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi launched NSE IFSC-SGX Connect. Under this Connect, all orders for NIFTY derivatives placed by members of Singapore Exchange Limited (SGX) will be routed to and matched on the NSE-IFSC order matching and trading platform. The Connect will deepen liquidity in derivative markets at GIFT-IFSC, bringing in more international participants and creating a positive impact on the financial ecosystem. Currently, the average daily volume in NIFTY Futures at SGX is 1.09 lakh contracts valued worth approximately $3.65 billion. This volume is expected to move to NSE-IFSC once the Connect is fully implemented, pursuant to a transition period of 4-5 months. Broker-Dealers from India and across international jurisdictions are expected to trade derivatives through the Connect in large numbers.

Exchange of MoUs by IFSCA with foreign regulatory authorities & Department of Space

Memorandums of Understanding (MoU) were exchanged by IFSCA with foreign regulatory authorities, namely, the Monetary Authority of Singapore; Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier, Luxembourg; Qatar Financial Centre Authority, and Finansinspektionen, Sweden. The MoUs will promote greater collaboration and partnerships between IFSCA and these regulatory authorities through, inter alia, the exchange of information, sharing of best practices and capacity building.
Further, IFSCA also exchanged an MoU with the Department of Space (DoS), Government of India, to unlock the enormous opportunity of convergence between FinTech and SpaceTech. IFSCA has enabled a regulatory framework for entities working in the areas of SpaceTech to be authorised as FinTech Entities under IFSCA. The MoU will enable IFSCA to leverage the technical expertise of DoS for evaluating applications of SpaceTech entities while also facilitating the access of space-related datasets of DoS to these entities for testing of their models.

Other important milestones announced during the occasion included:

Setting up of Indian Regional Office (IRO) by New Development Bank (NDB),
Inauguration of International Banking Units (IBUs) of three Foreign Banks,
Expansion of capacity of Global In-house Centre (GIC) of Bank of America,
Operationalisation of four International Trade Finance Services (ITFS) Platforms,
Grant of Authorisation Certificates to five FinTech firms in GIFT-IFSC,
Submission of a joint letter of intent by the Association of National Exchanges Members of India (ANMI) and Commodity Participants Association of India (CPAI) on behalf of 100+ Broker-Dealers for setting up operations in GIFT-IFSC,
75th listing of bonds on India INX in celebration of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, and
Launch of International Sustainability Platform (ISX).

The historic reforms and initiatives taken by the IFSCA have the potential to catapult India into a leading financial services provider in the regional and global landscape. In recognition of IFSCA’s approach of regulatory reforms and a strong emphasis on ensuring ease of doing business, the Global Financial Centres Index, London, in their latest report, has rated GIFT-IFSC among the top 15 centres globally, which are likely to become more significant over the next 2 to 3 years.

Union Minister Dr Jitendra Singh said here today that over the last 20 years, Narendra Modi’s governance model has grown stronger with every new challenge.

Delivering the keynote address at a Panel Discussion “Modi @ 20 – Dreams Meet Delivery” organised by the Central University Jammu, Dr Jitendra Singh said, to understand the essence and the spirit of “Modi@20”, it is essential to read the book in its entirety and in its real context and perspective.Dr Jitendra Singh pointed out that Narendra Modi is the only Indian leader to have completed 20 years as the Head of Government, first as Chief Minister and then as Prime Minister across the world also this could be a rare feat to have been achieved. Secondly, Modi was the rare case of a Chief Minister directly assuming the position of Prime Minister without having been a Member of Parliament in the past.

And most of all, the greatest distinguishing feature is that before Modi became Chief Minister in 2002, he had never held any post in the government or administration or not even contested any election in the past, either at the local level State level or national level and was mostly occupied in the organisational activities.

The question, therefore, said Dr Jitendra Singh, we need to study and analyse what are the essential factors which have sustained Modi’s governance model for 20 years and continue to sustain beyond 20 years also. Significantly, instead of being affected by the principle of diminishing returns, each passing year of Modi’s governance of 20 years has yielded increasing returns and each new challenge has enabled this governance model to emerge stronger, more effective and enduring.

Dr Jitendra Singh noted that soon after Modi took over as Chief Minister of Gujarat, his first challenge was a devastating earthquake in Bhuj and as he completes 20 years as head of government, the latest challenge that confronted him was the COVID pandemic sweeping across the nation of 140 crore people. A research study of how these challenges were successfully overcome and adversity was turned into a virtue, will also bring to the surface Modi’s unique and exclusive work style highlighted by diligent 24×7 focus, his unquenchable quest to go deep into every subject so as to be able to provide new ideas even to the officers who go to brief him, his long hours of introspection about how to innovate new ideas and his intimate connect with the ground which enables him to assure that “Dreams meet Delivery”, as the title of the book suggests.

Of the several chapters included in the book “Modi @20…”, Dr Jitendra Singh referred to the chapter by Amit Shah titled “Democracy, Delivery and Politics of Hope”, which traces the nation’s pessimism getting replaced with optimism and Sudha Murthy’s chapter which illustrates the awakening of aspirational India under Modi. Lata Mangeshkar‘s chapter highlights Modi’s ability to strike a personal chord, he added.

Dr Jitendra Singh said, while on the one hand, Modi brought in optimum use of technology for last-mile delivery through measures like Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT), his governance became more and more technology-driven which not only help in ensuring ease of living for common citizen through a measure like a single portal, single form etc. but also enabled objective delivery of service by civil servants through innovative concepts like “Mission Karmyogi”.

Modi has given a futuristic vision to India and spoke about “Startup India -Standup India” in his Independence Day address from the ramparts of Red Fort on 15 August 2015, when the StartUp concept was almost dismal in this country. Today, India ranks third in the world in the StartUp ecosystem.

Dr Jitendra Singh pointed out that there is also a meaning in what Prime Minister Modi keeps reiterating about Amrit Mahotsav because he can foresee India’s emerging role in the next 25 years and his governance model seeks to build the nation’s capacity to make a mark in the global arena.

Other panellists in the programme included former Ambassador and scholar G. Parthasarthy, Executive Director for India at International Monetary Fund, Surjeet S. Bhalla, while the programme was organised by the Vice Chancellor, Central University Jammu, Professor Sanjeev Jain.

RIP Rasik Dave : टीवी इंडस्ट्री को लगी बुरी नजर, मलखान के बाद इस दमदार एक्टर का निधन

Ketki Dave Husband Rasik Dave Death: टीवी इंडस्ट्री से इन दिनों लगातार बुरी खबरें सामने आ रही हैं। हाल ही में ‘भाबी जी घर पर है’ (Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai) के ‘मलखान’ उर्फ दीपेश भान (Deepesh Bhan) की मौत की खबर ने सबको हिला दिया। वहीं अब इंडस्ट्री के एक औद दमदार एक्टर और ‘क्योंकि सास भी कभी बहू थी’ (Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi) की जानी मानी एक्ट्रेस केतकी दवे (Ketki Dave) के पति रसिक दवे (Rasik Dave) के निधन की खबर से इंडस्ट्री को सदमा लग गया है। लंबी बीमारी के बाद 65 की उम्र में एक्टर का निधन हो गया है।
रसिक दवे (Rasik Dave) ने शुक्रवार रात 29 जुलाई 2022 की रात करीब 8 बजे आखिरी सांस ली। रसिक को उनके ‘महाभारत’ में ‘नंदी’ के किरदार के लिए तारीफें पाई थीं। दो साल पहले मशहूर एक्टर रसिक की किडनी में समस्या था जिसके बाद से वह डायलिसिस पर थे। वह लगातार किडनी संबंधी बीमारियों से जिंदगी की जंग लड़ रहे थे। उनकी किडनी समय के साथ खराब होती रही जिसके बाद बीते एक महीने से वह सीरियस हालत में थे। आज यानी 30 जुलाई 2022 को उनका अंतिम संस्कार किया जाएगा।


रसिक ने टीवी इंडस्ट्री में लंबे समय काम किया लेकिन उन्होंने बॉलीवुड में भी कई फिल्मों में काम किया। वह गुजराती फिल्मों के जाने माने स्टार थे। रसिक ने साल 1982 में गुजराती फिल्म 'पुत्र वधू' से एक्टिंग डेब्यू किया था। तब से लगातार वह एक्टिंग के क्षेत्र में एक्टिव हैं। उन्होंने फिल्म 'मासूम' बॉलीवुड में डेब्यू किया। जिसके बाद वह कई फिल्मों में नजर आए। एक छोटे से ब्रेक के बाद उन्होंने टीवी सीरियल 'संस्कार: धरोहर अपनों की' से अपनी दूसरी पारी की शुरुआत की। वह 'ऐसी दीवानगी देखी नहीं कही' सीरियल में अपने किरदार में काफी पसंद किए गए।

न्यूज हंट. हेल्थ डेस्क : शरीर की रोग प्रतिरोधक क्षमता बढ़ाने से लेकर मांसपेशियों और हड्डियों के विकास के लिए भी विटामिन की पर्याप्त खुराक जरूरी है, लेकिन कई बार विटामिन की अधिकता भी परेशानी में डाल सकती है। दरअसल Vitamin D शरीर की प्रतिरोधक क्षमता और हड्डियों की मजबूत के लिए बेहद आवश्यक होता है। अमेरिका में एक शोध में 40 फीसदी से ज्यादा लोगों में विटामिन डी की कमी पाई जाती है।
डॉक्टरों के मुताबिक अगर एक महिला में Vitamin D की कमी हो गई तो उसके पीरियड्स नियमित नहीं आते हैं और उसे थकान रहेगी, शरीर में दर्द रहेगा। अगर वो प्रेग्नेंट है तो उसके साथ बच्चे की सेहत पर भी इसका असर होगा। बच्चे की का विकास नहीं होगा और उसका नॉर्मल फंक्शन भी इफेक्ट होगा। साथ ही सोचने समझने की शक्ति भी कमजोर होने लगेगी।
किडनी फेल होने का बढ़ता है खतरा
शरीर में विटामिन डी अधिक होने के कारण कैल्शियम की अधिकता भी हो जाती है। यह दिमाग के काम करने के तरीके को प्रभावित करता है। डिप्रेशन, कंफ्यूजन और साइकोसिस जैसी बीमारियों का खतरा बढ़ जाता है। विटामिन डी की अधिकता किडनी फेल होने का कारण भी बन सकती है। क्योंकि इसका स्तर ज्यादा होने के कारण मरीज बार-बार पेशाब जाता है और इस वजह से शरीर में पानी की कमी हो जाती है। किडनी में मौजूद ब्लड वेसल्स संकुचित हो जाते हैं।
पेट में दर्द और थकान की समस्या
विटामिन डी पाचन में सहायक होता है। डॉक्टरों की मानें तो शरीर में विटामिन डी का स्तर 30 से 60 तक होना चाहिए। विटामिन डी हमारे खाने से कैल्शियम को अवशोषित करने में मदद करता है। कैल्शियम की ज्यादा मात्रा होने पर हमारा पाचन तंत्र प्रभावित होता है। पेट में मरोड़, कॉन्स्टिपेशन और थकान महसूस होने लगती है। ज्यादा पेशाब की भी समस्या हो सकती है। विटामिन डी की अधिकता से किडनी में स्टोन हो सकता है।

न्यूज हंट. फरीदकोट : फरीदकोट मेडिकल यूनिवर्सिटी (Faridkot Medical University) पहुंचे स्वास्थ्य मंत्री चेतन सिंह जौड़ामाजरा ने अस्पताल में बुनियादी सुविधाओं की इतनी कमियां गिना डालीं कि परेशान होकर वाइस चांसलर ने 24 घंटों के भीतर इस्तीफा दे दिया। जौड़ामाजरा के अभद्र रवैये से आहत होकर डॉ. राज बहादुर ने वाइस चांसलर पद से इस्तीफा दे दिया। दरअसल, शुक्रवार को स्वास्थ्य मंत्री ने फरीदकोट के गुरु गोबिंद सिंह मेडिकल कॉलेज और हॉस्पिटल का दौरा किया था। चेतन सिंह अस्पताल की मौजूदा स्थिति का जायजा लेने पहुंचे थे। इसी दौरान उन्होंने कुछ ऐसा किया, जिससे राज बहादुर आहत हो गए।
प्रेस और मीडिया के साथ अस्पताल पहुंचे चेतन सिंह अस्पताल की बदहाल स्थिति को देखकर नाराज थे। अस्पताल के गंदे वार्डों और खराब बेड से संबंधित तमाम शिकायतों के बाद चेतन ने अस्पताल का दौरा करने का फैसला किया था। जैसे ही वो अस्पताल पहुंचे, वहां की बदहाल स्थिति देखकर वह आपा खो बैठे। उन्होंने देखा कि स्किन वार्ड में बेड की हालत खस्ताहाल है। चिथड़े उड़े बेड़ की हालत देखने के बाद स्वास्थ्य मंत्री ने वाइस चांसलर डॉ. राज बहादुर से कहा कि वह इसी बिस्तर पर लेटकर दिखाएं। मंत्री ने जबरन बहादुर को बिस्तर पर लिटाया। उनके इस रवैये से कई लोग खफा हो गए।
विपक्ष ने बोला हमला
मंत्री जौड़ामाजरा ने डॉक्टर के बिस्तर से उठते ही कहा कि ‘सब तुम्हारे हाथ में है।’ इसके बाद मंत्री के साथ मौजूद एक व्यक्ति ने खराब बेड की ओर इशारा किया। इससे जुड़ा एक वीडियो भी सोशल मीडिया पर वायरल हो रहा है, जिसमें अस्पताल के पूरे घटनाक्रम को देखा जा सकता है। वीडियों में वार्डों के बेड पर बिछे गद्दे फटी-जली हालत में नजर आ रहे हैं। 71 वर्षीय डॉ. बहादुर एक स्पाइनल सर्जन हैं। विपक्ष ने स्वास्थ्य मंत्री के इस रवैये की कड़ी आलोचना की है।

न्यूज हंट, टेक डेस्क : भारत निर्वाचन आयोग (ECI) ने वोटर्स के लिए मतदाता फोटो पहचान पत्र (E-EPIC) को ऑनलाइन डाउनलोड करना आसान बना दिया है। The-EPICh आपके वोटर का एक PDF वर्जन है और समान रूप से मान्य है। e-EPIC, EPIC का PDF वर्जन है। बता दें कि मतदाता अपने कार्ड अपने मोबाइल फोन पर स्टोर कर सकते हैं, उन्हें डिजी लॉकर पर अपलोड कर सकते हैं या उन्हें प्रिंट कर खुद लेमिनेट कर सकते हैं। आइये इसकी प्रक्रिया के बारे में जानते हैं।
डिजिटल वोटर आईडी कार्ड डाउनलोड करने का तरीका
सबसे पहले https://www.nvsp.in/ पर जाएं और ‘डाउनलोड E-EPIC कार्ड’ पर क्लिक करें। इसके बाद नए यूजर के रूप में लॉगिन/रजिस्टर करें। फिर E-EPIC डाउनलोड’ पर क्लिक करें। इसके बाद एपिक नंबर या फॉर्म रेफरेंस नंबर दर्ज करें।
फिर रजिस्टर्ड मोबाइल नंबर पर भेजे गए OTP को वेरीफाई करें। इसके बाद डाउनलोड E-EPIC पर क्लिक करें। अगर आपका मोबाइल नंबर Eroll में रजिस्टर्ड नहीं है, तो इन स्टेप्स का पालन करें। KYC पूरा करने के लिए E-KYC पर क्लिक करें।
इसके बाद फेस लाइवनेस वेरिफिकेशन पास करें। KYC पूरा करने के लिए अपना मोबाइल नंबर अपडेट करें। इसके बाद E-EPIC डाउनलोड करें।
यहां जाने दूसरे तरीके
आप http://voterportal.eci.gov.in/ या http://electoralsearch.in/ से मतदाता सूची में अपना नाम खोज सकते हैं और यहां से अपना EPIC नंबर नोट कर सकते हैं और फिर E-EPIC डाउनलोड कर सकते हैं। आप E-EPIC को http://voterportal.eci.gov.in/ या https://nvsp.in/ या वोटर हेल्पलाइन मोबाइल ऐप से भी अपने वोटर कार्ड डाउनलोड कर सकते हैं। सबसे पहले वोटर पोर्टल पर रजिस्टर/लॉगिन करें। इसके बाद मेनू नेविगेशन से Download e-EPIC पर क्लिक करें। फिर EPIC नंबर या फॉर्म रेफरेंस नंबर दर्ज करें। पंजीकृत मोबाइल नंबर पर भेजे गए ओटीपी से वेरिफाई करें। फिर डाउनलोड E-EPIC पर क्लिक करें।

नई दिल्ली, बिजनेस डेस्क : पूरी दुनिया महंगाई की मार झेल रही है। मंदी के इस दौर में कंपनियां अपने वर्कफोर्स में कमी कर रही हैं। लोगों की नौकरियां भी जा रही हैं। बीते दिनों में दुनिया के सबसे अमीर व्यक्ति एलन मस्क (Elon Musk) की कंपनी टेस्ला (Tesla) ने सैकड़ों कर्मचारियों की छुट्टी कर दी थी। यह सिलसिला अभी भी जारी है। जानकारी की माने तो जेफ बेजोस (Jeff Bezos) की कंपनी अमेजन (Amazon) ने अपने कर्मचारियों को बड़ा झटका दिया है। कंपनी ने 1 लाख कर्मचारियों की छुट्टी कर दी है।
Amazon ने अपने वर्कफोर्स में लगभग 1 लाख की कमी की है, जो कंपनी के इतिहास में सबसे बड़ी मैनफोर्स की कटौती को बताती है। सप्लाई सेंटर्स और डिस्ट्रीब्यूशन नेटवर्क में ई-कॉमर्स दिग्गज अभी भी 15 लाख से अधिक लोगों को रोजगार देता है, जो तकनीक की दुनिया में सबसे ज्यादा है। अमेजन के मुख्य वित्तीय अधिकारी ब्रायन ओलसावस्की ने कहा कि कंपनी अपने मुख्यालय और अन्य सुविधाओं को अपग्रेड करने के लिए और अधिक अलर्ट होने की योजना बनाई है।
उन्होंने कहा कि मुझे लगता है कि मुझे नहीं लगता कि आप हमें उसी गति से काम पर रखते हुए देखेंगे, जो हमने पिछले साल या पिछले कुछ वर्षों में किया था। Olsavsky ने कहा कि कंपनी ने Q1 में 14,000 कर्मचारियों को जोड़े हैं। पहले साल, हमने अपने नेट कर्मचारियों की संख्या में 27,000 की कमी की थी। उन्होंने कहा कि हमने ओमाइक्रोन वैरिएंट के कवरेज के लिए Q1 में बहुत से लोगों को काम पर रखा था। अब कंपनी को एक उच्च कर्मचारियों की संख्या की स्थिति के साथ छोड़ दिया गया था।
