Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta has expressed profound grief and anger over the martyrdom of five Army personnel, including one officer, in an encounter in Doda district.
In a statement issued here, he conveyed his deep sorrow and outrage over the loss, promising swift and decisive retribution against those responsible. “These cowardly acts will not go unpunished. Their sacrifice will not be in vain,” he said.
Kavinder emphasized the Modi government’s unwavering resolve to combat terrorism with an iron fist. He reiterated the commitment of the Modi Government towards a zero-tolerance policy against terrorism, assuring the public that justice will be served promptly.
“I firmly believe that the terrorists responsible for this heinous crime will be neutralized soon. Our security forces are working tirelessly to ensure this,” he stated and highlighted the underhanded tactics of Pakistan, which, unable to win a direct confrontation, resorts to such despicable acts.
The senior BJP leader asked the people of Jammu region to unite against the recent terror attacks, emphasizing the importance of community solidarity in the face of such challenges. He urged citizens to support the security forces and remain vigilant to foil the nefarious designs of anti-national elements.
Meanwhile, Kavinder Gupta met with a deputation of local residents to listen to their issues. He assured them that their concerns would be resolved on a priority basis, demonstrating his commitment to serving the community and addressing their needs promptly.
