Former Deputy Chief Minister and Cluster Incharge for Parliamentary constituencies, Dr. Nirmal Singh, chaired a meeting of district office bearers, District Development Council (DDC), Block Development Council (BDC) and mandal presidents of Samba district on Friday.

This meeting was convened to review the ongoing programmes of Vikisit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, Beneficiary Sammelans, and other schemes of social welfare run by the Narendra Modi government to reach the people at their doorsteps and educate them about what has been done during the last about ten years for every section of the society.

Dr. Nirmal Singh, while speaking in the meeting, said that 2024 is the election year when Jammu and Kashmir, like other parts of the country, will go for the Lok Sabha polls as well as other elections. The results will write new chapters of BJP’s splendid victories in these polls. He said that although party cadre is always in the public and helping the people to avail the benefits of various schemes of the Modi government, each one of us has to devote more time and reach every nook and corner to seek support of the people for the party to register splendid victories in the upcoming polls.

“Well-managed and properly coordinated election activities are a must for securing the desired results”, Dr. Nirmal Singh said and added that no stone should be left unturned to put best efforts during the campaigning period so that the BJP gives befitting defeat to other political parties. He asked for constituting committees up to the Panna Pramukh level without any delay.

Prominent among those who also addressed this meeting included District President Kashmira Singh, District Prabhari Th. Narain Singh, Seh Prabhari Munish Khajuria, and Parliamentary Vistarak Inderjeet Sharma.
