Ashok Koul, General Secretary (organization), Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Jammu & Kashmir addressed a meeting of party whole-timers (Vistaraks) from Jammu province at party headquarters, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.
BJP NEM Priya Sethi, Vistarak Yojana Convenor Pawan Sharma and Co-Convenor Rajinder Singh Chib also addressed the meeting.
Ashok Koul, while addressing the meeting, asked the party whole-timers to gear up and reach out to the people across the UT for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls.
Koul praised the party whole-timers for their dedication in carrying out the party activities at the ground level even in the remotest regions. He asked the party whole-timers to identify and especially concentrate on the specific areas. He stressed on strengthening the grassroots network in the coming weeks well before the Parliamentary elections, as their role has always been crucial for organizational working and strengthening. He also asked them to bolster the party’s outreach to the different segments of society by activating the booth-level activists.

Ashok Koul further asked the Vistaraks to do extensive touring and reach out to every Booth level worker and engage them for ground work, keeping in view the approaching Parliamentary elections and termed this as the only ‘mantra’ to success in the elections and that they should leave no stone unturned while doing the work.
Priya Sethi asked the whole-timers to make the common masses aware of various Modi government schemes for the welfare of the poor and the needy.
Pawan Sharma apprised the senior party leadership about the various activities being undertaken by the party whole-timers. He also discussed the blueprint designed to achieve the hundred percent of reach of whole timers to their respective allotted areas. He emphasized that the Vistaraks are doing their task diligently and in the coming time they will work with even more dedication and will leave no stone unturned to extend the reach of the party to every area.
Rajinder Singh Chib conducted the meeting proceedings and hailed the party whole-timers for their dedication.
Former MLA Ashwani Sharma accompanied by Incharge BJP Health & Medical Cell Puneet Mahajan listened to the public grievances at party headquarters, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.
Various people individually and in the form of deputations had reached the party office with their day-to-day problems and sought the help of the BJP leaders in mitigating the same.
Ashwani Sharma, speaking on the occasion, said that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led Union government has ensured that the good governance model is ensured to every resident of this nation. He said that every activist of the Bharatiya Janata Party follows this line of PM Modi and strives to solve the issues of the public through 365 days a year. Stressing that the development has been brought to the remotest corners of the country, he said, the people who were oppressed and neglected earlier under the previous governments are now truly empowered under the Modi government.
People and deputations hailing from Talab Tillo, Bishnah, RS Pura, Satwari, Kathua and other areas presented their issues like construction and repair of lanes & drains, repair and installation of street lights, repair of hand pumps, electric wire issues, land dispute issue and other issues of personal and public concerns.
Puneet Mahajan conducted the camp proceedings and shared that they promptly took up the presented issues with the concerned department officials and ensured telephonic or written communications with them in order to get the issues resolved.
Two-time legislator from National Conference and prominent Gujjar leader of Jammu and Kashmir, Haji Mohammed Hussain, joined BJP in a function organized at Party headquarters Trikuta Nagar, Jammu, ahead of coming parliamentary elections along with hundreds of supporters in presence of BJP State General Secretary (organization) Ashok Koul, party senior leaders Devender Rana & Kuldeep Dubey and District Jammu President Parmod Kapahi.
Welcoming the former MLC into the party fold, Ashok Koul said that people in large numbers are joining BJP across the Jammu and Kashmir UT. The people have realized that it is the only party which has real concern and pain for every section of society. He said that the Gujjar community had been exploited by the non-BJP governments for vote bank politics and did nothing in practical for their welfare and well-being.
‘With each passing day, the tall leaders of other parties are shifting their loyalties towards BJP and taking pledge to ensure the return of Narendra Modi as PM for the third consecutive term’, Koul said and added that such a change among the leaders of Congress, NC and PDP, has unnerved the bosses of these political parties and the day is not far when only lotus will bloom in entire length and breadth of the Jammu & Kashmir.

Devinder Rana, on this occasion, said that the joining of Haji Mohammed Hussain will further strengthen the party’s standing in the Gujjar community. He said that Gujjars have developed faith in the leadership of PM Narendra Modi as they are convinced by the schemes and programmes of the government. He further said the Gujjars are well aware of the fact that the Modi government has worked at a fast pace for the development of their community in a real sense.
Kuldeep Dubey, who managed the joining programme proceedings said that the increasing number of people and leaders joining the party will enhance the party’s strength and capabilities.
Parmod Kapahi thanked all those present in the programme and hailed the decision of new entrants to join the party.
Chandigarh: BJP national general secretary Tarun Chugh today congratulated veteran BJP leader LK Advani for being conferred Bharat Ratna.
Chugh said the contribution of Shri Advani as a statesman has been phenomenal. “He has led the nation to new visions and ideas which would go a long way to help build a strong Bharat”, Chugh said. As a deputy prime minister and a Union Home Minister, he discharged his responsibilities in the interest of the nation. He also played a pivotal role as an I&B minister in the Morarji Desai government in giving a new lease of life to the media.
In Punjab, Chugh said, Advani ji has contributed a great deal in maintaining communal harmony. “He had a particular attachment with Punjab and was always in touch with the state leaders to make sure that there was no discord in the state, “said Chugh.
Former Deputy Chief Minister and Cluster Incharge for Parliamentary constituencies, Dr. Nirmal Singh, chaired a meeting of district office bearers, District Development Council (DDC), Block Development Council (BDC) and mandal presidents of Samba district on Friday.
This meeting was convened to review the ongoing programmes of Vikisit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, Beneficiary Sammelans, and other schemes of social welfare run by the Narendra Modi government to reach the people at their doorsteps and educate them about what has been done during the last about ten years for every section of the society.
Dr. Nirmal Singh, while speaking in the meeting, said that 2024 is the election year when Jammu and Kashmir, like other parts of the country, will go for the Lok Sabha polls as well as other elections. The results will write new chapters of BJP’s splendid victories in these polls. He said that although party cadre is always in the public and helping the people to avail the benefits of various schemes of the Modi government, each one of us has to devote more time and reach every nook and corner to seek support of the people for the party to register splendid victories in the upcoming polls.
Dr. Singh asked the district functionaries to open election offices in each assembly segment before February 29 and constitute the Election Management Committees at various levels as well.
“Well-managed and properly coordinated election activities are a must for securing the desired results”, Dr. Nirmal Singh said and added that no stone should be left unturned to put best efforts during the campaigning period so that the BJP gives befitting defeat to other political parties. He asked for constituting committees up to the Panna Pramukh level without any delay.
Prominent among those who also addressed this meeting included District President Kashmira Singh, District Prabhari Th. Narain Singh, Seh Prabhari Munish Khajuria, and Parliamentary Vistarak Inderjeet Sharma.

मुख्यमंत्री भगवंत सिंह मान के नेतृत्व में पंजाब वक्फ बोर्ड लगातार बेहतरीन कार्य कर रहा है। पंजाब के सभी जिलों में मुस्लिम समुदाय की मुख्य जरूरत कब्रिस्तान को रिजर्व किया जा रहा है। शुक्रवार को एडमिनिस्ट्रेटर एम.एफ फारुकी आई.पी.एस की तरफ से जिला होशियारपुर के गांव शेरगढ़ के मुस्लिम समुदाय के लोगों को 3 कनाल 15 मरले का कब्रिस्तान रिजर्व किया है। इस बारे में जानकारी देते हुए जमील अहमद ने बताया कि 18 जनवरी को शेरगढ़ गांव सहित अस्लामाबाद और शांति नगर कालोनी के मुस्लिम समुदाय की तरफ से एडमिनिस्ट्रेटर जनाब एम.एफ फारुकी के साथ पी.ए.पी कांप्लेक्स में मुलाकात कर उन्हें अपनी समस्या से अवगत करवाया। जिसके बाद फौरन एस्टेट अफसर होशियारपुर को हिदायतें जारी की गई कि मुस्लिम समुदाय को नजदीकी एरिया में वक्फ बोर्ड की जगह पर कब्रिस्तान मुहैया करवाया जाए। उन्होने कहा कि इसके बाद स्थानीय मुस्लिम समुदाय की बड़ी समस्या दूर होगी।
एम.एफ फारुकी ने बताया कि वक्फ बोर्ड की तरफ से लगातार मुस्लिम समुदाय को कब्रिस्तान रिजर्व करके दिए जा रहे है और जिन जिलों में वक्फ बोर्ड की जगह मौजूद नहीं है वहां पर बोर्ड अपने फंड से अन्य जगह को खरीद कर उसे स्थानीय लोगों को कब्रिस्तान मुहैया करवा रहा है। उन्होंने कहा कि मुस्लिम समुदाय को कब्रिस्तान मुहैया करवा कर उसे सुरक्षित करना हमारा मुख्य काम है। आने वाले दिनों में बोर्ड की तरफ से कई बड़े काम किए जा रहे है जिसका सीधा फायदा पंजाब के आम लोगों को भी होगा।
