Ayodhya Ram Mandir : More than 25 lakh devotees visited Ram Mandir in 10 days , and received donations worth more than ₹11 crore

Around 2.5 million devotees have participated in Ram Janmabhoomi in 11 days since the inauguration of the Ram temple on January 22, with offerings and donations amounting to over Rs 11,000 crore.

A team of 14 staff, including 11 bank staff and three Temple Trust staff, are counting the donations in four collection boxes.

The 31st State Level Children Science Congress started today at Rayat-Bahra Group of Institute, Hoshiarpur. On this occasion, Joint Director of Punjab State Council for Science and Technology, Dr. K.S. Bath said that Children Science Congress is an event organized every year since 1993 by the Department of Science and Technology.

In which students aged between 10 to 17 years make small research projects and present them at the district and state level. He said that this year on the theme of ‘Understanding Ecosystem for Health and Well Being’, more than 1200 projects have been prepared by the participants from all 23 districts of the state, out of which 138 projects are being presented at the state level. He informed that 16 projects will be selected from the state and sent to participate in the national level event.

On this occasion, participants coming from different districts were registered in the junior and senior categories this morning. Dr. Bath said that today’s student wants to test everything on the basis of science because in the age of science he does not want to remain under any illusion. He told that to further increase the thinking towards science among children, such Children Science Congress has been organized, which is organized from district level to national level, in which thousands of students of the country showcase their talent. He said that new inventions have also become possible because students have come forward in the field of science and made many impossible tasks possible. He said that the interest of children in science subjects is continuously increasing in government and non-government schools of the state. This is the reason why in many schools where only arts was taught, now science is also being taught. Scindia writes to Shergill: Flights from Adampur to Delhi, Goa, Jaipur & Kolkata to commence soon

Responding to the demand raised by BJP National Spokesperson Jaiveer Shergill during his meeting with Union Civil Aviation Minister J.M.Scindia on January 16, 2024, Scindia has replied to Shergill that his request has been considered and flights from Adampur to various sectors will commence soon. Divulging further details, Shergill said that Scindia has now replied to him through a letter dated January 26, 2024, that under the UDAN 5.0, the routes connecting Adampur to Delhi NCR, Nanded, Bangalore, Kolkata, and Goa have been awarded to the Selected Airline Operators and the concerned airlines may commence operations in the near future.

Giving this information in a release issued today, Shergill said that during his meeting with Scindia; keeping in view the faith and sentiments of all communities, he had handed over the request letter to the Minister for starting a direct flight from Adampur to Banaras, the birthplace of Guru Ravidas Ji and holy place of Kashi Vishwanath Temple. Shergill said that he had also urged the Union Minister for the resumption of flights from Adampur to Delhi. Shergill said that on this also, Scindia has confirmed that his request has been shared with all the scheduled domestic airlines for favorable consideration. 

Shergill said that this is a positive development, as air connectivity from Adampur (Jalandhar) and Halwara (Ludhiana), will not only improve Punjab’s connectivity but will also boost economy, tourism and trade. 

Shergill thanked Scindia for positively considering his demands.
