अमृतसर में निहंगों ने सरेआम युवक को तेजधार हथियारों से मौत के घाट उतारा
न्यूज हंट. अमृतसर : इलाका कहियांवाला बाजार में निहंग सिंहों ने देर रात एक युवक को हथियारों से काट डाला। युवक की मौके पर ही मौत हो गई। उसकी पहचान हरमनजीत सिंह (22) निवासी गांव चाट्टीविंड के रूप में हुई है। घटना पास में लगे होटल के सीसीटीवी कैमरे में कैद हो गई है। पुलिस ने शव कब्जे में लेकर पोस्टमार्टम करवाने की कार्रवाई शुरु कर दी है। थाना कोतवाली की पुलिस हत्या का मामला दर्ज कर निहंग सिंहों की पहचान करने में जुट गई है। हरमनजीत एक महीने बाद विदेश जाने वाला था। उसके चाचा हरप्रीत सिंह ने बताया कि उसके दोस्त ने उसे रात को 11 बजे के करीब फोन किया था, जिसके बाद दोनों दरबार साहिब में माथा टेकने पहुंचे थे। इसी दौरान कहियांवाला बाजार के पास उसके भतीजे की कोई बहस हो गई थी।
इसी दौरान निहंग सिंहों ने तेजधार हथियारों से उस पर हमला कर दिया। सीसीटीवी फुटेज में साफ देखा जा सकता है कि पीछे से एक निहंग आकर उसके सिर पर जोरदार हमला करता है, जिसके बाद हरमनजीत जमीन पर गिर जाता है। उसकी मौके पर ही मौत हो गई। परिवार ने पुलिस प्रशासन से इंसाफ की गुहार लगाई है।

9 सितंबर काे सरकारी छुट्टी घोषित, बंद रहेंगे कार्यालय व शिक्षण संस्थान
न्यूज हंट. जालंधर : शहर में मनाए जाने वाले विश्वविख्यात श्री सिद्ध बाबा सोढल मेले को लेकर लोकल सरकारी छुट्टी की घोषणा कर दी गई है। इस संबंध में जारी निर्देशों में उपायुक्त जसप्रीत सिंह ने कहा कि अनंत चौदस पर मनाए जा रहे श्री सिद्ध बाबा सोढल मेले में देश-विदेश से श्रद्धालु नतमस्तक होने पहुंचते हैं। इसमें जिला प्रशासन, नगर निगम, पुलिस, ट्रैफिक विभाग व सेहत विभाग समेत लोगों से जुड़े विभागों द्वारा श्रद्धालुओं को तमाम तरह की सेवाएं दी जाती हैं। इसी के चलते 9 सितंबर को सभी तरह के सरकारी कार्यालय, निगम कार्यालय, बोर्ड कार्यालय और तमाम तरह के शिक्षण संस्थान बंद रखे जाएंगे।
अनंत चौदस से 4 दिन पहले ही श्रद्धालुओं की आमद को देखते हुए मंदिर के बाहर बैरिकेड्स लगा दिए गए हैं। इसके चलते चाैपहिया वाहन मंदिर के बाहर तक नहीं जा पा रहे हैं। चड्ढा बिरादरी के प्रधान विपिन चड्ढा बताते हैं कि रविवार को भक्तों की अधिक आमद के चलते रास्ता बंद करना पड़ा है। अगर सोमवार को श्रद्धालुओं की संख्या कम होती है तो मेन रोड फिलहाल खोल दिया जाएगा, जिससे यातायात में परेशानी नहीं होगी।
पीएम श्री योजना को मिली मंत्रिमंडल की मंजूरी, स्कूल में पढ़ने वाले बच्चों को मिलेगा बड़ा फायदा
PM Shri School: केंद्रीय मंत्रिमंडल ने देशभर में 14,597 स्कूलों को आदर्श विद्यालय के रूप में विकसित और उन्नत करने की प्रधानमंत्री स्कूल्स फॉर राइजिंग इंडिया (पीएम-श्री) योजना को बुधवार को अनुमति दी है, जिस पर 27,360 करोड़ रुपये का खर्च होगा। प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी (PM Modi) की अध्यक्षता में हुई केंद्रीय मंत्रिमंडल की बैठक में इस प्रस्ताव को अनुमति दी गई है।
कौन से स्कूल होंगे शामिल
मंत्रिमंडल की बैठक के बाद केंद्रीय मंत्री धर्मेन्द्र प्रधान एवं अनुराग ठाकुर ने यह जानकारी देते हुए कहा कि इन स्कूलों में केंद्रीय विद्यालय, नवोदय विद्यालय सहित राज्यों एवं स्थानीय निकायों द्वारा संचालित सरकारी स्कूल शामिल होंगे।
18 लाख स्टूडेंट्स को होगा फायदा
केंद्रीय शिक्षा मंत्री ने बताया कि पीएम-श्री स्कूल योजना को 2022-2027 तक पांच साल की अवधि में लागू किया जाएगा। इस पर 27,360 करोड़ रुपये व्यय किये जाएंगे, जिसमें केंद्र की हिस्सेदारी 18,128 करोड़ रूपये होगी। इससे 18 लाख छात्रों को फायदा होगा।
10 दिन बिना बैग के जाना होगा स्कूल
प्रधान ने कहा कि ये स्कूल प्रौद्योगिकी संचालित होंगे और व्यावसायिक अध्ययन और उद्यमिता इन स्कूलों का एक महत्वपूर्ण हिस्सा होगा। इन स्कूलों में 3डी लैब भी होंगी और इनमें 10 दिन बिना बैग के स्कूल आने का प्रयोग भी शुरू होगा।
हर स्कूल को मिलेंगे 2 करोड़ रुपये
प्रधान ने बताया कि पायलट परियोजना के आधार पर पीएम-श्री स्कूलों में विद्या समीक्षा केंद्र की शुरूआत की जाएगी। इसके लिये एक पोर्टल बनाया जाएगा जिस पर हर स्कूल के हर छात्र के प्रदर्शन का ब्यौरा होगा। इसके लिये पांच वर्ष में हर स्कूल को दो करोड़ रुपये दिए जाएंगे। उन्होंने कहा कि इसके लिये पहली बार केंद्र से स्कूलों को सीधे कोष दिया जाएगा जो 40 फीसदी तक हो सकता है। इसकी निगरानी की भी उचित व्यवस्था की जाएगी।
जेल से बाहर आए पूर्व कांग्रेसी मंत्री धर्मसोत, समर्थकों ने किया स्वागत; 3 महीने जेल में रहे
न्यूज हंट. पटियाला : पूर्व कांग्रेसी मंत्री साधु सिंह धर्मसोत (Sadhu Singh Dharamsot) नाभा जेल से बाहर आ गए हैं। समर्थकों ने हार पहनाकर उनका स्वागत किया। धर्मसोत को 2 दिन पहले पंजाब एवं हरियाणा हाईकोर्ट (Punjab & Haryana High Court) से रेगुलर बेल मिली। इसके बाद भी उन्हें नाभा जेल से नहीं छोड़ा गया। जेल प्रबंधन ने तर्क दिया कि सरकार से उन्हें जानकारी मिली कि धर्मसोत पर दर्ज केस में नई धाराएं जोड़ी गई हैं। उन्हें जमानत सिर्फ करप्शन केस में मिली है। इसलिए उन्हें रिहा नहीं किया जा सकता। जिसके बाद धर्मसोत के वकीलों ने दोबारा हाईकोर्ट में पहुंच की। जिसके बाद धर्मसोत को नई धाराओं में भी जमानत मिल गई है। इसके बाद आज शाम तक वह जेल से रिहा हो सकते हैं।
कैप्टन अमरिंदर सिंह की सरकार में जंगलात मंत्री रहे धर्मसोत पिछले 85 दिन से नाभा जेल में बंद हैं। उन्हें करप्शन केस में पकड़ा गया था। धर्मसोत पर आरोप है कि उन्होंने परमिट लेने वाले लोगों से एक पेड़ कटाई के बदले 500 रुपए कमीशन लिया। विजिलेंस ने शुरूआती जांच में उनके सवा करोड़ कमीशन लेने के आरोप साबित होने की बात कही। हालांकि हाईकोर्ट में जमानत पर सुनवाई के वक्त कोई परमिट होल्डर कमीशन की गवाही देने नहीं आया। जिसके बाद उन्हें जमानत मिल गई।
Punjab News : कैबिनेट मंत्री का फर्जी पीए गिरफ्तार, सरकारी नौकरी लगवाने के एवज में मांगे थे 10 लाख रुपए
श्री मुक्तसर साहिब। राज्य की सामाजिक सुरक्षा, महिला व बाल विकास मंत्री डा. बलजीत कौर का फर्जी पीए बनकर किसी को सरकारी अध्यापक लगवाने के लिए 10 लाख रुपये मांगने वाले एक व्यक्ति को पुलिस ने काबू किया है।
एसएसपी डा. सचिन गुप्ता ने बताया कि उन्हें कैबिनेट मंत्री डा. बलजीत कौर के कार्यालय से इसकी शिकायत मिली थी। गांव फकरसर निवासी गुरवीर सिंह पुत्र बिंदर सिंह ने भी शिकायत कर बताया था कि वह बीती 5 सितंबर को कोलियांवाली गया था। जहां पर एक टायर पंक्चर की दुकान पर उसकी गांव निवासी गुरमीत सिंह से मुलाकात हुई। इस दौरान गुरमीत ने उसे बताया कि वह कैबिनेट मंत्री डा. बलजीत कौर का पीए लगा हुआ है। अगर वह सरकारी अध्यापक लगना चाहता है तो उसे 10 लाख रुपये दे दे। वह उसको नौकरी लगवा देगा। वहां से आकर उसने कैबिनेट मंत्री डा. बलजीत कौर के कार्यालय में उनके निजी सहायक से बात की। इस दौरान उन्हें बताया गया कि गुरमीत सिंह नाम का कोई भी व्यक्ति कैबिनेट मंत्री का पीए नहीं है। गुरवीर सिंह की शिकायत पर गुरमीत सिंह के खिलाफ धोखाधड़ी की धाराओं के तहत केस दर्ज करके उसे गिरफ्तार किया गया।
भारत जोड़ो यात्रा के शुभारंभ पर सोनिया गांधी ने लिखा इमोशनल लेटर
कांग्रेस की भारत जोड़ो यात्रा (Bharat Jodo Yatra) आज (7 सितंबर) से शुरू हो गई है। राहुल गांधी ने हरी झंडी दिखाकर इसका शुभारंभ किया है। यह यात्रा 12 राज्यों और 2 केंद्र शासित प्रदेशों से गुजरकर 3570 किलोमीटर का सफर तय करेगी। 2024 के लोकसभा चुनाव से पहले इसे कांग्रेस का बड़ा दांव माना जा रहा है।

नफरत की राजनीति में पिता को खो दिया: राहुल

हर रोज बसेगा एक नया गांव
कन्याकुमारी से कश्मीर तक 3570 किलोमीटर तक चलने वाली भारत जोड़ो यात्रा के दौरान हर रोज कंटेनर के जरिए एक नया गांव बसेगा, जहां राहुल गांधी और उनके साथ चलने वाले यात्री ठहरेंगे। इसके लिए करीब 60 कंटेनर को आशियाने के रूप में तैयार किया गया है, जिन्हें ट्रकों पर रखा गया है.
यह सभी कंटेनर राहुल यात्रा के दौरान साथ नहीं चलेंगे बल्कि दिन के अंत में निर्धारित जगह पर यात्रा में शामिल लोगों के पास इन्हें पहुंचा दिया जाएगा। रात्रि विश्राम के लिए इन सारे कंटेनर को गांव की शक्ल में हर रोज एक नई जगह पर खड़ा किया जायेगा। राहुल गांधी सुरक्षा कारणों से एक अलग कंटेनर में सोएंगे, जबकि बाकी अधिकतर कंटेनरों में 12 लोग सो सकते हैं। इसी कंटेनर के गांव में सभी यात्री एक टेंट में राहुल गांधी के साथ खाना भी खाएंगे, जो पूर्णकालिक यात्री राहुल गांधी के साथ रुकेंगे वे एक साथ खाना खायेंगे और आसपास ही रहेंगे।

“Held an engaging interaction with venture capitalists in San Francisco Bay Area. Encouraged them for deeper engagements & greater partnerships with the vibrant Indian startup ecosystem”, the Minister tweeted about the meeting. He also encouraged them to consider mentorship of early-stage Indian startups to help them scale and succeed.

Minister calls for partnerships with cyber security companies to further strengthen and secure India’s cyberspace: Shri Goyal
The Minister had addressed the faculty and students of Stanford Graduate School of Business earlier in the day. He also attended an Indian community event hosted by the Consulate in association with TiE Silicon Valley, IIT Start-Ups and Indian Community Center.
Interacting with media later in the day, Shri Goyal said that Bay area is very bullish about the potential that India and Indian businesses and startups have to offer. They also see great potential in India’s huge market of 1.3 billion people, the Minister said.
He elaborated upon the several steps taken by the government to improve mentorships such as the Self Employment and Talent Utilization (SETU) scheme and such other transformational and upskilling initiatives. Under the aegis of the Startup Advisory Council, the focus is being placed on mentorship in tier 2 and 3 cities, the Minister added.
Referring to his meeting with the CEO of cyber security company Zscaler, the Minister said that the world has been grappling with challenges in the arena of cyber security. He said that the government had been devoting considerable efforts towards securing India’s cyberspace and added that partnerships with cyber security companies in the bay area would bring faster success in the endeavour.
Responding to a query on semiconductor policy, Shri Piyush Goyal said that India had come up with a semiconductor policy many months ago, which offered very liberal incentives to companies to come and manufacture in India and set up plants. We already have a good ecosystem in design and several elements of the SC chain. We are in dialogue with many companies and several of them have shown keen interest in investing in India, he added. Shri Goyal assured us that India was very serious about promoting the domestic semiconductor industry.
In response to queries, Shri Goyal also highlighted the need for Indian products, especially those under the One District One Program (ODOP) initiative to be promoted all over the world. Enumerating our efforts to improve the packaging of ODOP products, the Minister said that institutions of eminence like the National Institute of Design (NID), the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) etc were being roped in to improve the look and feel of the packaging. He added that ODOP manufacturers were being onboarded on GeM free of cost and that government bodies, cooperatives etc. were being encouraged to use ODOP products, especially for purposes like gifting.
Speaking of the possible synergies between ODOP and Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC), Shri Goyal said that ONDC would democratize the buyer-seller ecosystem and would help expand the frontiers of ODOP. He added that efforts were being made to roll out ONDC in one or two cities soon and added that all efforts were being made to ensure that ONDC would be a good offering to the public.
