डिप्टी कमिशनर ने क़र्मचारियों को किया सम्मानित

जालंधर,मई (न्यूज़ हंट)- विधान सभा चुनाव -2022 दौरान इमानदारी और पूरी लगन के साथ ड्यूटी निभाने वाले आधिकारियों /कर्मचारियों की सेवाओं को मान्यता देने की लड़ी के अंतर्गत डिप्टी कमिशनर घनश्याम थोरी ने आज ज़िला प्रशासकीय कंपलैक्स, जालंधर में एक सादे परन्तु प्रभावशाली समागम दौरान ज़िला आइकन सहित पी. डब्लयू. डी. वालंटियर सहित 100 और अधिकारी /कर्मचारियों को प्रशंसा पत्र दे कर सम्मानित किया।

अधिकारी /कर्मचारियों को प्रशंसा पत्र सौंपते डिप्टी कमिशनर घनश्याम थोरी ने स्वतंत्र, निष्पक्ष और निर्विघ्न विधान सभा चुनाव करवाने के लिए उनकी तरफ से दिए योगदान की प्रशंसा की। उन्होंने कहा कि चुनाव प्रक्रिया दौरान चुनाव स्टाफ का रोल बहुत अहम होता है और अलग -अलग विभागों के आधिकारियों और कर्मचारियों की तरफ से पूरी ज़िम्मेदारी, तनदेही और समर्पण भावना के साथ निभाई ड्यूटी से ज़िले में पूरी चुनाव प्रक्रिया को निर्विघ्न और पारदर्शी ढंग के साथ पूरा किया गया। उन्होंने अधिकारी /कर्मचारियों को भविष्य में भी अपनी ड्यूटी को इसी जोश और लगन के साथ पूरा करने का न्योता दिया।

Union Minister for Chemicals & Fertilizers and Health & Family Welfare, Dr Mansukh Mandaviya launched Plastindia 2023-11th International Plastic Exhibition & Conference in the presence of Union Minister of State for Chemicals & Fertilizers and MNRE, Shri Bhagwanth Khuba. Senior officials of the Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers and industry representatives were also present at the meeting.

Addressing the event, Dr Mansukh Mandaviya stated that “these exhibitions are important because they will attract international plastic players to the country and provide a platform to learn and exchange ideas and technology”.He noted that the government is not only pro-poor but also industry-friendly as industrial growth promotes wealth creation and is important for generating employment and Nation building.

The Union minister highlighted that “India’s Petrochemical Industries has been one of the fastest-growing industries in the Indian economy with high demand growth. India is projected to contribute more than 10% of the incremental global growth in Petrochemicals over the next decades”. However, amidst the Petrochemical growth globally, volatility, significant Import dependency and attractive demand growth have been the primary reasons for which India needs Petrochemical assets to meet the domestic and global demand, he added.

The Union Minister further stressed that although import dependency of the country has reduced, there is a need for a holistic approach to creating an atmosphere for the industrialists to be able to compete globally. He suggested the need to create a roadmap for the plastic industry for long term policy support, investment as well as export promotion.

Highlighting the achievements of the Chemicals sector in the country, the Union Minister said that today Indian Chemical industry has become a global player and earns foreign exchange for the nation with the “Make in India, Make for World” approach. Exports of Indian Chemicals have registered growth of 106% in 2021-22 over 2013-14. This export growth in the chemical sector would be a boost to our Hon’ble Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi Ji’s Atma Nirbhar Bharat Abhiyan

Reaffirms the Government of India’s firm commitment to improving the ease of doing business in India
Secretary, Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) Shri Anurag Jain chaired a round table of German Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Berlin today and shared his thoughts on sustainable growth, and startups, digitalization and green technology. Shri Jain is a part of the official delegation accompanying Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi on his tour to Germany.

German SMEs shared their future plans for investment in India. The Secretary reaffirmed the Government of India’s firm commitment to improving the ease of doing business in India. Shri Jain also met Mr Markus Jerger, Chairman, BVMW(German Association for Small and Medium Enterprises) and discussed opportunities for greater investment and cooperation in the MSME sector between India and Germany in the fields of Food Processing, Textiles, Manufacturing, AI, Technology, Hydrogen and Green Energy, Sustainability, Digitalization among others.

Shri Piyush Goyal asks officials to identify land for ‘Tourist Craft Village’s Haridwar

There has been a transformational change in Haridwar in the last four years under the aspirational district programme: Shri Piyush Goyal
The Union Minister for Commerce & Industry; Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution and Textiles, Shri Piyush Goyal chaired the review meeting with the district officials at Haridwar about Aspirational District Programme.

He asked officials to identify land for a ‘Tourist Craft Village’, where artisans can showcase their work to domestic and international tourists. He said that this kind of initiative will extend the stay of the tourists and will generate a virtuous cycle of economic activity.

The Minister instructed the officials to regularly hold ‘DISHA’ meetings to get feedback from the public representatives. District Development Coordination and Monitoring Committee (DISHA) have been formed to ensure coordination among all the elected representatives and the district administration for time-bound development. He also exhorted the officials to put up details of projects on the websites to encourage transparency and public accountability.

While being briefed about the progress of organic farming in the state, the Minister suggested that an APEDA certified lab should be set up in Uttarakhand to engender the credibility of the organic products. The Union Minister added that the gains from such certification in the form of increased exports to the international markets are bound to be high.

Speaking about the Public Distribution System, the Union Minister informed the gathering that after the 2021 census is completed, a revised allocation of Ration Cards would be undertaken across the nation. He also said that since Uttarakhand has a large migrant population, it stands to benefit from the earnest implementation of the One Nation One Ration Card Scheme.

He added that the biometric-based ONORC scheme has obviated the need for a physical ration card. He also advised the officials to implement the PM Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana with the utmost sensitivity. He added that in such schemes benefiting the disadvantaged sections of society, there should be an absolute zero tolerance for corruption.

The Union Minister suggested that an intensive drive should be taken up to enrol eligible farmers under the PM-KISAN Yojana. While reviewing the process of ‘MUDRA Yojana’ the Union Minister impressed upon the officials to work harder towards greater disbursement of capital to budding entrepreneurs.

The Union Minister also met with the representatives of organisations supporting the government such as the Indian Red Cross Society, Rotary Club, Piramal Foundation, SUPA Agricultural Research Group and Plan International etc. Shri Piyush Goyal appreciated the efforts by the organisations in providing skills and relief to improve the livelihoods of the people.

While briefing the media about his two-day visit, the Union Minister expressed satisfaction with the progress that Haridwar has made in the last four years in the area of education, financial inclusion and agriculture, and he added that nutrition remains an area where improvement is needed.
