होशियारपुर 26 नवंबर (न्यूज़ हंट)- पिछले दिन निगम कमिशनर के पास अपने काम से गईं पार्षद रजनी डडवाल एवं सुनीता रानी ने आम आदमी पार्टी के पार्षद ब्रह्मशंकर जिम्पा द्वारा समाचार पत्रों ने लगाई खबर को गलत बताते हुए कहा कि उनका इस समाचार से कोई संबंध नहीं है। आज यहां जारी एक प्रैस विज्ञति जारी करते हुए बताया कि उन्होंने इस बारे में मेयर सुरिंदर कुमार के साथ भेंट करके साफ किया कि पार्षद जिम्पा द्वारा उनकी आज्ञा के बिना उनके नाम खबर में दिए, जोकि सरासर गलत है। पार्षद रजनी डडवाल एवं सुनीता रानी ने कहा कि पूर्व कबिनेट मंत्री व विधायक सुन्दर शाम अरोड़ा द्वारा शहर का सर्वपक्षीय विकास करवाया जा रहा है तथा उनके वार्डों में भी रिकार्ड कार्य करवाए गए हैं। इसके अलावा पंजाब सरकार की समस्त योजनाओं का लाभ उनके वार्ड के गरीब एवं जरुरतमंद परिवारों को दिया जा रहा है। यह सब श्री अरोड़ा की दूरगामी सोच और शहर में बिना भेदभाव करवाए गए विकास कार्यों के चलते ही संभव हुआ है। उन्होंने कहा कि वह हाउस के साथ हैं तथा मेयर सुरिंदर कुमार की अगुवाई में हाउस द्वारा शहर की बेहतरी के लिए जो भी फैसले लिए जाएंगे वह उन्हें पूरा करने में मेयर व हाउस का साथ देंगी। इस मौके पर मेयर सुरिंदर कुमार ने कहा कि पार्षद जिम्पा द्वारा कांग्रेसी पार्षदों के नाम का गलत इस्तेमाल करके जनता को गुमराह करने का जो प्रयास किया गया है वह अति निंदनीय है। उन्होंने कहा कि कांग्रेस सरकार विकास का लक्ष्य लेकर कार्य कर रही है तथा शहर की समस्त वार्डों में विकास कार्य करवाए गए हैं और करवाए जा रहे हैं ताकि लोगों को समस्त सुविधाएं मुहैया करवाई जा सकें।

होशियारपुर 26 नवंबर (न्यूज़ हंट)- वार्ड नंबर म28 में शहरी अध्यक्ष मुकेश डावर मिंटू व पार्षद जसविंदर पाल की अगुवाई में कांग्रेसी कार्यकर्ताओं की बैठक हुई। इस मौके पर नगर सुधार ट्रस्ट के चेयरमैन एडवोकेट राकेश मरवाहा तथा पूर्व कैबिनेट मंत्री व विधायक सुन्दर शाम अरोड़ा की बेटी डा. शिवानी अरोड़ा विशेष तौर से उपस्थित हुए। इस मौके पर उन्होंने पार्टी का विस्तार करते हुए राकेश कुमार को वार्ड अध्यक्ष नियुक्त किया। इसके अलावा रजनीश अबरोल व सरवन कुमार को उपाध्यक्ष, विपन टाक को सचिव तथा उत्तम शर्मा, प्रीती मेहरा, सम्पूर्ण सिंह, तरलोचन सिंह, भगवान दास, राहुल मेहरा, सुदेश, सतपाल, नानक, हरीश चुग, गोल्डी सिद्धू, सुलखनपाल, अंकुश, राकेश कुमार, सुनीता कालिया, सुमन तथा अमरपाल को सदस्य नियुक्त किया गया और उन्हें आई-कार्ड सौंपे गए। इस मौके पर एडवोकेट राकेश मरवाहा ने कहा कि कार्यकर्ताओं की मजबूती ही कांग्रेस की मजबूती है तथा इसीलिए कांग्रेस ने सदैव संगठन के सकारात्मक गठन एवं कार्यकर्ताओं को जिम्मेदारियां सौंपने की पहल की है ताकि पार्टी के कार्य आगे बढ़ाए जा सकें। उन्होंने कार्यकर्ताओं से आह्वान किया कि वह सरकार की भलाई योजनाएं आम जनतक पहुंचाने में पार्टी का सहयोग करें। इस दौरान डा. शिवानी अरोड़ा ने कहा कि पूर्व कैबिनेट मंत्री व विधायक श्री अरोड़ा द्वारा शहर के विकास में कोई कसर नहीं छोड़ी गई है तथा जो भी शेष समस्याएं हैं उनके हल के लिए युद्ध स्तर पर कार्य करवाए जा रहे हैं। उन्होंने कार्यकर्ताओं से कहा कि आने वाला समय भी कांग्रेस का है और इसके लिए कार्यकर्ताओं को पूरी मेहनत से कार्य करने की जरुरत है ताकि पंजाब में फिर से कांग्रेस सरकार बने व और भी तेजी से विकास हो सके।
विश्वास, भक्ति, आनंन्द का प्रतीक – 74वें वार्षिक निरंकारी संत समागम का आज से होगा शुभारंभ

PARGAT SHOWS MIRROR TO KEJRIWAL ON EDUCATION SYSTEM IN PUNJAB
Jalandhar, November 26 (NEWS HUNT)- Showing mirror to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on education system in Punjab, Education Minister Pargat Singh today categorically said that Punjab having 19377 schools could not be compared with 2767 schools in Delhi.
Education Minister also advice Arvind Kejriwal not to indulge in cheap publicity tactics rather adopt issues based politics.
Interacting with media persons here, the minister said that challenges and complexities of running a full-fledged state like Punjab with far flung schools were entirely a different challenge from a compact municipality like Delhi .Punjab ,the minister said had 7 times more schools than Delhi.
He congratulated the students teachers , NRIs and citizens of Punjab whose effort had ensured that Punjab had secured the top position National Performance Grading Index (PGI) by securing top position.
Throwing light on initiatives undertaken by state government to further strengthen educational infrastructure, the minister said that the department has embarked recruitment of nearly 20,000 teachers in school and colleges which is expected to be completed by next month. Further, a platform of top educationist from the state was formed to make education in-line with contemporary times with a view to improve employability.
Launching a scatching attack on Kejriwal government, the minister said that there is a stark difference between students-teachers ratio in Delhi and Punjab with 32.27 & 25 percent in both states respectively adding that Punjab has maintained zero percent drop out rate up to upper primary level. He also mentioned that even AAP’s senior leader HS Phulka had lauded the Punjab’s education model after the distinctive achievement in PGI. Pargat Singh further mentioned that Punjab had vast educational infrastructure comprising smart schools, meritorious schools, border area schools, strength of teachers & rural schools.
Giving breakup about the enrolment, Pargat Singh said that Punjab had 55.5 percent in Government Schools as compare to 47.04 in Delhi. Similarly, transition of Punjab schools in primary to upper primary group is 99.37 percent, upper primary to secondary 100.75 percent against 97.01 and 97.07 percent respectively in Delhi. Likewise the retention rate in secondary schools of Punjab is 86.02 percent against Delhi’s 81.08 percent. On the other hand in higher secondary the retention rate in Punjab Schools is 91.09 percent, august which is 59.04 percent in Delhi.
The minister said that Punjab was able to accomplish all this despite stressed finances and partiality by centre in provision of education grants to the state .
The Minister also stressed that Punjab has never been on Kejriwal’s agenda as he speaks differently in Punjab and Delhi. He added that neither Kejriwal nor any of his minister ever visited schools in last four years and now they are frequently visiting schools keeping in view the forthcoming assembly elections in Punjab.
Lashing out at Delhi CM, Pargat Singh accused his Aam Aadmi Party of collecting huge funds from NRIs in lieu of investing it in Punjab but they didn’t spent even a single penny on Punjab’s school, thereby cheating on NRI brethren.
Responding a query, Pargat Singh said that the government would soon issue notification to waive off penalties on class 5th and 8th admissions to facilitate thousands of students.
On the occasion MLAs Rajinder Beri, Suahil Rinku was also present.
MINISTER MEETS TET PASS TEACHERS: Pargat Singh also interacted with the TET pass aspirants and listened to their issues patiently. He also assured them to take needful steps on their issues besides underlining that he is always available to hear the issues of teaching fraternity lodging protest on different issues. He said that there were some subjudice matters otherwise he and the Chief Minister was positive to ensure recruitment of teachers as soon as possible.
HIGH TIME TO PROMOTE SPORTS, PARGAT CALLS SOCIAL, RELIGIOUS ORGANISATIONS & NRIs
NOVEMBER 26 Jalandhar (NEWS HUNT)- Punjab Sports and Education Minister Pargat Singh on Friday took a round of Rurka Kalan and Jandiala Manjki villages to further boost sports activities by distributing sports kits besides announcing Rs. 10 lakh grant for Youth Football Club and another grant of Rs. 1 lakh.
The Minister gave a clarion call to NRIs, social and religious organisations to come forward for playing a crucial role in strengthening efforts for sports, which would certainly channelize the energy of youngsters thus ensuring positive results at national and international level. The Minister also honoured Jatin Malhan, who became the third Indian to win Laureus IWC Drawing Competition. He also handed over sports kits to children at YFC.
While interacting with the budding sports persons and office bearers of YFC, the Sports Minister Pargat Singh said that various significant steps were being taken by the Punjab Government to further expansion of sports activities at grassroots level especially in villages. He mentioned that the role played by the YFC in promoting sports was highly commendable, which should also be followed by others in their respective areas so as to get maximum youngsters involved in different games. He said that youngsters should be provided sports opportunities so that they could compete at national and international level to bring laurels for the state and country.
Accompanied by the YFC President Gurmangal Dass, the Minister also visited the multipurpose sports stadium in Rurka Kalan being developed by the YFC at a cost of Rs. 15 crore.
Cabinet Minister Pargat Singh also distributed sports kits among budding students during an event organized by Doaba Young Sports Club. He announced a grant of Rs. One lakh for the club and urged the members to intensify their sports activities in the village. He interacted with the children as well as their coaches and directed them to work earnestly at grass route level to impart best of the training among youngsters.
Meanwhile, the minister further announced a grant of Rs. 71 lakh for gram Panchayat Jandiala Manjhaki for development works adding that the said funds to be released within a week. He stated that there was no paucity of funds for rural development.

पटियाला एमसी में अविश्वास प्रस्ताव पर वोटिंग के दौरान बवाल
पटियाला, नवंबर 25 (न्यूज़ हंट)- पटियाला के मेयर संजीव शर्मा बिट्टू को हटाने के कांग्रेस सरकार के फरमान के खिलाफ गुरुवार शाम पटियाला नगर निगम के अंदर अविश्वास प्रस्ताव पर वोटिंग के दौरान बवाल हो गया
मुख्य विशेषताएं:
* मीटिंग हॉल के अंदर की गतिविधियों का वीडियो अपने फेसबुक पेज पर पोस्ट कर रहे मेयर संजीव शर्मा बिट्टू का मोबाइल फोन छीन लिया गया.
* बिट्टू ने कथित तौर पर इस्तीफा देने से इनकार कर दिया क्योंकि सरकार उन्हें पद से हटाने के लिए संख्या जुटाने में विफल रही है। दोनों गुट जीत का दावा करते हैं।
* ब्रह्म मोहिंद्रा का कहना है कि महापौर ने सदन का विश्वास 25 मतों से खो दिया जबकि उन्हें 30 से अधिक मत प्राप्त होने चाहिए थे।
* “महापौर निलंबित है और तब तक वरिष्ठ उप महापौर महापौर पद पर रहेंगे,” उन्होंने कहा।
* यह भी कहा जाता है कि पुलिस ने दो पार्षदों को एमसी परिसर के भीतर ले लिया, जिसके कारण मेयर संजीव शर्मा ने विरोध किया।
* पिछले हफ्ते कथित तौर पर यूएसए से लौटे पार्षदों में से एक स्व-संगरोध के बजाय घर में था।
* जबकि शुरुआत में 23 पार्षद कैप्टन अमरिंदर सिंह के साथ निगम के अंदर थे, पुलिस ने रिश्तेदारों या किसी को भी जो आज प्रक्रिया का हिस्सा नहीं है, को इमारत में प्रवेश करने की अनुमति नहीं दी है।
* मेयर संजीव बिट्टू के करीबी सूत्रों ने कहा कि उनके तीन पार्षदों को घसीटा गया और उन पर दबाव सुनिश्चित करने के लिए पुलिस कार्रवाई का सामना करना पड़ा ताकि वे अपना वोट न डालें।
* जहां पुलिस ने किसी पार्षद को घेरने के दावों का खंडन किया है, वहीं मेयर बिट्टू ने आरोप लगाया कि पुलिस यह सुनिश्चित कर रही है कि सरकार बल प्रयोग करके निगम को अपने कब्जे में ले ले।
पंजाब के पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री कैप्टन अमरिंदर सिंह कांग्रेस पार्षदों की अपनी करीबी टीम का नेतृत्व करेंगे, जिन्होंने पटियाला के मेयर संजीव शर्मा बिट्टू को हटाने के कांग्रेस सरकार के फरमान के खिलाफ उनका साथ दिया है।
एक पूर्व कांग्रेसी, अमरिंदर ने अपनी पार्टी बनाई है और अपने गृह क्षेत्र पटियाला से चुनाव लड़ने की घोषणा की है। इस्तीफा देने के बाद से सत्ता के अपने पहले प्रदर्शन को देखते हुए, वह पटियाला से कांग्रेस सरकार द्वारा समर्थित महापौर के खिलाफ अविश्वास प्रस्ताव के खिलाफ मतदान करने के लिए कांग्रेसियों की अपनी टीम का नेतृत्व करेंगे। यह घटनाक्रम पटियाला की सांसद परनीत कौर, जो अमरिंदर की पत्नी हैं, को पंजाब कांग्रेस द्वारा “पार्टी विरोधी गतिविधियों” के लिए कारण बताओ नोटिस जारी किए जाने के एक दिन बाद आया है।
राजनीतिक पर्यवेक्षकों का कहना है कि अमरिंदर के पार्टी छोड़ने के बाद यह पहला आमना-सामना है, जिसके बाद शाही गढ़ में कैडर बंट गया है। अमरिंदर द्वारा पटियाला से चुनाव लड़ने की घोषणा के साथ, इन घटनाक्रमों का महत्व है।
इस बीच, सरकार ने दो वरिष्ठ मंत्रियों को यह सुनिश्चित करने के लिए नियुक्त किया है कि अमरिंदर समर्थित मेयर के खिलाफ अविश्वास की प्रक्रिया सुचारू रूप से चले। इसके अलावा स्थानीय निकाय मंत्री ब्रह्म मोहिंद्रा भी अमरिंदर खेमे का विरोध करने के लिए शहर में हैं।
