Arvind Kejriwal held meeting with AAP candidates in Jalandhar

Jalandhar, 15 December (NEWS HUNT)- Aam Aadmi Party’s (AAP) National Convener and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said that AAP will contest the 2022 elections on the agenda of development and win a landslide victory as the Delhi government’s ‘work based politics’ has given rise to a new hope across the country, including Punjab. On the first day of his two-day visit to Punjab on Wednesday, Arvind Kejriwal was holding meeting Aam Aadmi Party candidates. Bhagwant Mann, AAP Punjab President, Harpal Singh Cheema, Leader of Opposition and Raghav Chadha, Co-incharge of Punjab Affairs, were also present in the meeting.

Kejriwal sought detailed information about constituencies from the party candidates and also gave necessary directions. According to the party sources, Kejriwal made it clear that AAP’s mission in 2022 would be positive and focused on the multi-pronged development agenda of Punjab. Kejriwal said that today the people and the financial position of the state are facing serious challenges and crises.

Mr. Kejriwal said that if the state was to get on the path of development then it needs clear intentions, honest policies and sincerity as well as strong political will, but it was unfortunate for Punjab and Punjabis that parties (Congress, SAD and BJP) to whom they’ve handed over the power in the past, all of them turned out to be more dishonest than each other. They only developed their own bank accounts and properties for seven generations, but plunged the people and the state into a quagmire of serious crises.
Kejriwal said the Aam Aadmi Party believes in “work based politics” and Delhi’s development model is in front of everyone today. Therefore, focusing on the development agenda, the Aam Aadmi Party government will provide clean governance in Punjab. Health, education, peace, harmony and corruption free Punjab will be prioritised. Therefore, every candidate should focus on the development agenda during their election campaign.
On this occasion senior leader of AAP and Deputy Leader of Opposition Sarvajit Kaur Manunke, Kultar Singh Sandhwan, Meet Hayer, Principal Budh Ram, Jai Singh Rori, Kulwant Singh Pandori, Manjit Singh Bilaspur (all MLAs) including Lal Chand Kataruchak, Rajwinder Kaur , Surinder Singh Sodhi, Prem Kumar, Neel Garg and other candidates were present.
